What Makes you Special

I haven’t posted in a while because I have been quite busy with work commitments and have not made the time to write on this blog, but now I can so I will…

Unique

One aspect of writing a blog that you need to consider is what makes your blog so special? Or perhaps it’s what experience you have, what you are offering to readers or the information that you can provide to people. Maybe it’s none of those and it’s your writing style or an approach you take which is so different or unique.

For example, Pat Flynn at Smart Passive Income took a completely new style of blogging when he started to share his monthly earnings with his readers. This was something that no one else at the time was doing even when the aim of a lot of the bloggers blogs was to help make people money online. If that’s what you are aiming to do, then knowing what kind of money you can make online is quite an important piece of information.

Pat managed to open up in a very new and completely open and honest way and win the trust and support of his readers. Not only that, but the approach he takes throughout his blog is one of openness and honesty, which is a rare trait in the world of making money online. He doesn’t try to really sell you anything either, which is another great tactic.

Your Specialty

Can you think of anything that you have which is a different approach to how everyone else is doing it? Your USP (Unique Selling Point) if you like. Have a think about what everyone else is doing and how you can separate yourself from them by doing something differently.

Blog Often

I may not be holding up very well in terms of blogging often, so my readership probably has gone down a lot since my last post was many months ago…So, learn from my mistakes and blog often! Not only that but the search engines also like it when you blog often so your content will be shown much higher in the search results.
